Even candles bring up the subject...

Today I was going to throw away a used candle, one of those that comes in a nice kraft wrap, wrap which i had put away to throw away later. Well, the wrap had something written on it. Of course, the typical marketing stuff  but occupying the main body of the wrap was the following: Peace & Serenity "I am fully present in the place of the Mystery  wherein desire and destiny become one. Into this clearing of pure energy  I release my fear  and awaken  to my experience of true peace and serenity. I embrace the sweetness of life,  without reservation or limitation.  This or something better, is manifesting for me now.  And so it is." Last Sunday in the group discussion, weren't these the themes present? Becoming fully present, as much as possible...embracing the moment...and letting go, releasing... I must need to learn something: themes keep repeating...coming up anywhere within everywhere!

A couple of thoughts...pay - shuns!

What comes to mind is... ...in this age of "immediacy" (texting, portable ear phones, Bluetooth, "I want it now", these two quotes speak of "pat - i - ence". Remember when parents used to pat you on the shoulder when you would cry for wanting something and you were not getting it? "Pat - I = pat yourself...;  ence...h ence ...sci ence .... In Spanish it is more like "peace - science": "Paz" - ciencia". As if th...
