The Oil of Serenity...
Yesterday, I picked up a small book on "fire sale" at B&N: " The Well that Never Runs Dry "". Its title caught my attention, and the price label contributed heavily to acquiring it. Joann Davis is its author. I have never read anything from her, but up till now...13 pages...it is neat! Well, on page 12...in a dream a sage (my take) in the form of an "Old Woman" asks Elizabeth if she has " been upset and discouraged lately? " Surprised, Elizabeth asks " Does it matter ? " And she is hit back with... " Your soul is a lamp that burns best with the Oil of Serenity in its well. Despair dims the light ."
