When I look at these two faces... ...one of them touches me...no, sorry, both touch me deeply; ...one comes across warning me to run away, or to be scared, or feels insulting, or...just let it be and go away' ...the other... ...I don't have words to describe succinctly, how much deeper it connects with me...attracts, soothes...invites...tele-hugs...elevates...forgives...makes whole...ok's...aaaaahhhh! My soul blows!!!

There was an article today in HuffPost that read:"Democrats Urge People To Keep Resisting After House GOP Pulls Obamacare Repeal Vote".  Whaaaat? Link here. Pssst, Dems: the people were there in the streets before you got to their seats: don't come out now and tell them what to do! You have a role to play: do it...hard. We, the people, have another. You stay in your lane, and we will stay in ours. But If you cower, deceive, equalize, 'holier-than-thou-speak', we'll let you know asap. Feel the support coming from us: that support and initiatives made your job easier, right! That's the way it's going to go from now on. That's the way it should work. But please, you'd better start leading, putting out proposals, making us salivate with your ideas, counterbalancing the 'other side of the aisle's' proposals, not just comdemning the Geriatric Onerous Pupils (that is, GOP!) of dt and nepotism. Ok? It takes more than that. And, btw, ...

Another day in the tumultuous reign of USA's unbelievably powerful maelstrom. Darkness everywhere. Lies justified. Alternative truths justify deceit. Fear reigns. Others - those not of 'the tribe' - are persecuted, disdained, condemned. Asking for a comment begets rejection in the response. " Your ____ did it, give it more time, that's the way of down-to-earth speak, all promises are being kept, America will be great again! " fill the airwaves, the websites, the cable frames, the newspaper. I never imagined that populism was so ' ingorant ', so easily manipulated, so vitriolic, so dangerous!, for I admired populist causes. And now... Hopefully democracy will survive; hopefully the reconstruction will not be a long one. And like the history of the city of Atlanta and its logo reference of "Resurgens", we'll - all - awaken to a new way of life where common-unity is the basis of existence and daily life. In these days in which 'dt' and his Administration have turned decidedly anti-immigrant, condemning asylum seekers - including mothers, children - separating mothers and children at catch-up, deporting families who have been here years under the excuse of "violent criminals", advocacy groups have built a series of resources - information and legal assistance - to guide, support, and alleviate the harshness and pain these human beings are receiving and experiencing.
