What's right with the world...?
Usually I, maybe - we (?) - ask "what's wrong with you?...when we distance ourselves from the object of our irritation. What is wrong with you...? sinks heavy, accusatory, projects un-understanding, shame. Creates guilt, rejection feelings, dissociation, 'pariah - ness' (invented word?) . Maybe we live our entire lives thinking about someone close to us, near to us, in those terms: "what IS wrong with you?" Maybe we spend our lives in the remembrance mode: "what was wrong with you (and continues to be...)?" Life in the 'past tense'. Of course, with that question - affirmation - constantly present, the quality of our lives is affected. For the worse. It leads to little hope, continual expenditure of energies, sour grapes...bleak outlook. Well, there is hope. we just saw a documentary called "I Am". Note that this is a documentary . ( There is also a movie by the same name ). I am referring to the one by Tom Shadiac. Check it...
