Friday Dec 5th...Yes!
It is early Saturday morn', but as regards yesterday, Friday...wow! The good news, the luggage was found somewhere. Sherry was able to track it thru the wonders of connectivity. Upon arriving at the hotel at the end of the day, they informed us; how appreciative I was to be able to think of waring a different set of clothes...but mind you, I am not protesting!

We took a tour of the city. The heavens were coming down with lots of constant water showers. and it was cold...
We saw highlights of the city, including the Atomium...neat!, and the EU's G
overnment building -
fantasti
c! Saw Brussel's Arc de Triumph (sp?) - reminded me of WW II. On its side there was an airplane museum with all sorts of neat airplanes: the mist of rain, the dreary looking set
tin
g, and the war planes, felt awkward. Got out of there quick!
Went for a nice Belgian Waffle: the local version of Waffle House! wow! A waffle, with bananas, chocolate (melted on top of it)...and a great cup of coffee. What more can a human being ask for!
Sherry bought me a red beret: it is neat. BUT...I had the sense it was funny looking for we came across several guts out on the town, drinking, having a ball, who really 'liked it':
translation...they were making fun of it. I had to laugh though for curiosity's sake, I stopped an armed services guy, commando looking, and asked him if there was something with the beret: he affirmatively responded: "no - it is ok". So,...whatever! But... (today I will wear my black hat, just in case). We are attempting to go on another adventure: we will go to Bruges. For
that, we will get on a train...1 hours away...and I'll let you know about it.
For now, let's get on with the trip arrangements...bye!
