Vernal Equinox...Martín's B-day!
More about the day in this article
Wow! on March 19th., I celebrated my "name saint day" - St. Joseph's Day: San José. Several José's around, including a special one - José Javier!
Today is the 21st. of March. The b-day of Martín Lohr - my brother. Wonder where he is...Mayaguez, PR, I am told. He's "out of it", as the phrase goes. Maybe homeless; penniless? But repeating the cycle of getting rescued by people he charms, with his warm personality, stories, and his spirit. Wow!

What a path your soul chose to go thru this lifetime, Martín. Was it pain? Or, denial? Reality too hard?...given something that must be very scary, very painful?
What?
What?
But, don't we all do the same? Maybe to a lesser degree, but we do it. We hide our vulnerability buttons: our shame?, our id - who we are, our scary convictions, our...?(space left for fill in).
So - Japi Berzdei, Bro! Martín Lohr!
How much pain is associated with it! Estrangement...distance...separateness...from a well known stranger, whose presence hurts yet is so attractive even if it is for a few minutes!

And, what a beautiful name! Mom had a knack for choosing our names, didn't she? Egdalis...Francisco Javier(?)...Orlando?!...
I remember Mom's cherished thoughts of the date: the Vernal Equinox. "Spring starts!", she would say! Daylight and Night duration are the same at the Equator: signals rebirthing. New life! A very special time.
The article referred to above says that the "persians" start celebrations for 13 days!: "Millions of Iranians, Kurds and other groups in the region will celebrate the 13-day festival." of...Nowruz, known widely as the Persian new year, takes place on the vernal equinox. And at sunrise on the vernal equinox,Egypt's sphinx points directly to the rising sun.

Indeed a special date, it is. Even for Catholics...the date anticipates Easter - with all its meaning/s, which will come "on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the vernal equinox." i.e., Resurrection is around the corner.
So, what do you make of all of this, ML?
...where have you been? Where are you going?...
But tell me...why go there...this way?
I miss you...
